I need to lose weight before september, can you help me?

I weigh 150 and i wanna be 130. I am 5"5, 15 turning 16 in august i'm female.

I participate in my gym class everyday, and every second day i have 2 gym classes, so i work out alot and i eat 2 meals a day, i only have junk food on weekends except for at lunch i have 1 chewy bar and thats it.

Why can't lose weight?

Can you come up with a plan for me to lose weight.

I wanna lose 20 pounds before september

Answer:Okay so based on your weight, height and gender your BMR (basal metabolic activity) is 1542.5. This is the number of calories your body burns if you were to stay in bed the whole day without any actual physical activity.

To find out the number of calories you burn daily you have to add your exercise which is moderately active. You do this by multiplying your BMR by 1.55. This is a total of 2390.875.

Now to understand the process of loosing weight there are two things you need to know.

Consuming less calories than what you burn= loss of fat.

3500 calories = 1 pound

This means that if you were to consume 1890.875 calories everyday (this is 500 calories less than what you actually need) on the days that you exercise you will loose 1-2 pounds every week.

This means that by september you would eventually loose close to 20 pounds! and you are doing it slowly and healthy.

Keep in mind that everybody is different and depending on your own metabolism and genetics you may loose way more or less.

Keep in mind that eating a variety of foods is important and making healthy choices does not only play a mojor role in looasing weight but also in growth developement and health.

You are still very young and sometimes teenagers as they go through puberty may gain or loose a lot of weight. This may be temporary.

Its also important to know the reason why you want to loose weight.

Remember skinny does not always equal healthy.

Make sure you eat around 1500-1850 calories and you will see results!

Hope this helped

Answer:Buy a treadmill and RUN !!!

Answer:The pattern for losing those unwanted pounds is easy - consume less food and exercise more often - the problems arise when we really try to put that into operation! There are a lot of stumbling blocks in the big wide world aren't there?! I found some excellent help by learning from the web resource in the box below, they have a lot of tips, I shed 6 pounds by doing as they advised.

Answer:I am no expert but I think the best is to ask a doctor for advice. Maybe try to avoid the junk food and split your meals more into 4 small meals. All the best!

Answer:There is one failproof way to lose weight, and that is to burn more calories than you take in.

I would suggest that you do a little research on the internet, or ask your family physician, about building good nutrition habits for teenagers. Learning about how your body uses nutrients and how to maintain a healthy diet, are the absolute best and smartest tools for losing weight.

Do not make the mistake of looking for "quick, fast & easy" diets, and never resort to unnatural means of losing weight such as drugs/medicines, surgeries, or fad diets that rob your body of necessary nutrients. Losing 20 pounds won't mean a thing if you are lethargic, suffering dehydration and/or malnutrition, or a host of other ailments that can be attributed to these methods.

If you take the time to research a healthier eating lifestyle, you will lose the weight, and actually look and feel healthy doing it.

Best wishes!

Answer:Exercise:

3 days a week of 30 minutes of cardio

3 days a week of strength training that includes at least one ab workout

Nutrition:

1.) Consume around 2000 calories per day

2.) Meals/ snacks should be balanced with a caloric intake of 40% carbs 40% protein and 20% fat (to figure out calories from each multiply grams of carbs and protein by 4 and grams of fat by 9).

3.) Also, make breakfast your biggest meal and scale down the rest of the day.

4.) Eat six times a day: 3 meals and 3 snacks… this will keep your metabolism going to burn more fat… just remember to make your meals smaller (about 500 calories each).

I have lost over 10lbs (more than 10 pounds of fat since I am building lean muscle at the same time) and lost 6% body fat in 3 weeks doing the above system.

Use as much of the above system as you feel you can do and don't get discouraged if you find it difficult to balance meals completely 40-40-20.

Answer:You need at least three meals and about two healthy snacks a day. Two meals a day slows down your metabolism and can actually make you gain weight. The fact that you starve yourself during the week and then binge on the weekend also makes it easier for you to gain weight.

You should eat the same way during the weekend as you do during the week. Aim for about 1600 calories a day being sure to get plenty of water and fruits and vegetables.

Answer:MORE VEGGIES AND MORE CARDIO!!

Answer:The formula to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. 3500 calories = 1 lb of fat

To lose 20 lbs by September 1, you need to loose 1.1lbs per week (18 weeks btw now and then) which is a perfectly reasonable goal. That also means you need to have a deficit of 3850 calories every week. Divide that by 7 days and that comes out to about 550 a day.

Based on your height, weight and activity level I would estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (how many calories you natural burn off everyday doing your normal activities) is around 2300 calories per day. So you want to limit your daily calorie intake to about 1700-1800 per day so that there will be a deficit of 550 calories a day.

Use a calorie counter website or written food journal to track and calculate the calories you are consuming. This includes everything you eat all day including drinks. You can also track how many calories you are burning doing the activities you do in gym class. Just google "calorie calculators"

Other things that have worked for me:

Eating oatmeal, fruit, and protein filled (eggs) breakfast foods

Eliminate sugary drinks like sodas, and juices- Drink only water, diet juice and soda (People don't realize 2-3 full sugar drinks everyday adds about 4200 extra calories to your diet every week.

Drinking a glass of water or cup of tea before meal

If you slip up and eat junk food, try to eat it right after working out when you body is burning fat faster

Eat healthy snacks in between meals, this will keep your metabolism energized so that you burn more over the course of the day. (carrots, nuts, granola, fruit, whole grain toast, peanut butter)

GOOD LUCK!!!

Answer:Sounds like you just need to kick start your metabolism. Try eating five or six times a day rather than two or three. But make the meals much smaller and make sure they are healthy. Or you could just try cutting down your portions and eating more fruits and veggies. There are also several different supplements that can assist you with weight loss. This site lists a couple that actually worked.
